BCBA Angela Persicke visits to talk about studies that show the efficacy of a 30-40 hour program for small children on the spectrum. As more and more insurance companies are funding ABA therapy families are being told that 15, 20 and 25 hours a week are what is appropriate for their small child. Where is the research to support that? There is plenty of research on the efficacy of early intensive ABA therapy for Autism ? but all of it suggests that 30-40 hours a week is that is effective.
