Be Safe The Movie

Teaching our children with Autism how to be safe in all situations is necessary but overwhelming. Emily Iland, a well respected Autism Advocate, shares her new project: Be Safe, The Movie. This is an important film that depicts a wide variety of situations and clearly demonstrates proper safety procedures in a way that young individuals on the spectrum will understand. This is a film to watch and share with your older child. It covers following safety rules, knowing what to do in an emergency, how to respond to first responders and more. It even demonstrates what to do if you are the victim of mistaken identity and how you should cooperate with the police.
