Autism Live Sensitive Santa 2018

Like Autism Live on Facebook at http://facebook.com/autismlive

Every year Autism LIve hosts a special Sensitive Santa event in conjunction we We Rock the Spectrum Kid’s Gyms.
Children on the autism spectrum and their siblings met with Santa, posed for photos and received a wrapped holiday toy. While on-site, the youngsters played with their toys and explored the unique sensory gym equipment. Santa and his helpers were experienced working with children on the spectrum and were sensitive to their unique needs making the experience a delight for all family members. Every child in attendance received a wrapped toy. The event was free!

The high quality toys given away were featured on Autism Live’s December Festival of Toys and were chosen because they are not only fun to play with but were geared to help children on the spectrum build skills and make progress toward achieving their goals. Some of the manufacturers generously donating toys include American Educational Products, Anki, Ark, Discovery Toys, Endless Games, Future Horizons, Imperial Toy, Infantino, Kano, Lux Blox LLC, Melissa & Doug, MukikiM, North Star Games, SAS Group Inc, SmartFelt Toys, The LEGO Group, The Roald Dahl Story Company, ThinkFun, Inc., WePlay.

Autism Live (www.autism-live.com) and We Rock the Spectrum Kid’s Gym (www.werockthespectrumkidsgym.com) hosted the event. Autism Care Today! (www.act-today.org) and My Brother Rocks the Spectrum Foundation (www.mybrotherrocksthespectrumfoundation.org) were the charities involved in creating the event. The Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD- www.centerforautism.com ) and Skills® for Autism (www.SkillsForAutism.com) were the other organizations involved in making Autism Live Sensitive Santa a reality.
