Autism expert Anna Matcheneva discusses teaching children on the spectrum how to make friends by being aware of social rules that revolve around friendship. Matcheneva shares research, presented at the ABAI 2012 conference in Seattle, where after learning social rules about friendship children on the spectrum were able to successfully make and keep a friend in a classroom setting.
